Application Note

The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of FLASH (GTX28420). Itusually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot by incubating the peptide withequal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37ºC

Background

Studies of FLASH protein suggested that this protein may be a component of the death-inducing signaling complex that includes Fas receptor, Fas-binding adapter FADD, and caspase 8, and plays a regulatory role in Fas-mediated apoptosis.
