Background

Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology. [provided by RefSeq]

Various tissue extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with GOT1 antibody [GT638] (GTX632031) diluted at 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody (GTX213111-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

Aspartate aminotransferase antibody detects Aspartate aminotransferase protein by western blot analysis. Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Aspartate aminotransferase antibody (GTX632031) diluted by 1:1000.
