Cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans are composed of a membrane-associated protein core substituted with a variable number of heparan sulfate chains. Members of the glypican-related integral membrane proteoglycan family (GRIPS) contain a core protein anchored to the cytoplasmic membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage. Untreated (–) and treated (+) HepG2 whole cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Glypican-3 antibody [GT764] (GTX633303) diluted at 1:500. The HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody (GTX213111-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
