Background

HIP(Hsc70-interacting protein), also known as ST13, is a co-chaperone to the major heat shock proteins, HSP70 and HSP90, and appears in early receptor complexes. Through mutual binding to both HSP70 and HSP90, Hip functions as an adaptor that can integrate HSP70 and HSP90 interactions. Also, Hip has been shown to be involved in the assembly process of glucocorticoid receptor, which requires the assistance of multiple molecular chaperones.

Anti-HIP antibody [AT1F1] used in Western Blot (WB). GTX50028

GTX50028 WB Image

Cell lysates of 293T (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to NC membrane and probed with anti-human Hip/ST13 (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.

Anti-HIP antibody [AT1F1] used in IHC (Paraffin sections) (IHC-P). GTX50028

GTX50028 IHC-P Image

Paraffin embedded sections of human gastric cancer tissue were incubated with anti-human HIP/ST13 (1:25) for 2 hours at room temperature. Antigen retrieval was performed in 0.1M sodium citrate buffer and detected using Diaminobenzidine (DAB)
