A single human adult normal tissue with 5 μm thickness is mounted on each positively charged glass slide. These tissue sections are designed for rapidly identifying cellular localization of genes or proteins in human normal tissues. More organs maybe available upon request.

Figure Note : Healthy adult human retina sections (GTX22016) were deparaffinized and rehydrated. For antigen retrieval, sections were incubated in a heated (95ºC) Dako Target Retrieval Solution, pH 9 for 20 min. Samples were permeabilized by 0.5% Triton X for 15 min and blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at RT. Retinal microglia was detected by incubation with IBA-1 (1:400) and visualized by Donkey anti-rabbit Cy3 (1:1000). Nuclei counterstained by DAPI.
The white arrow indicates nuclei in the Ganglion cell layer.
The yellow arrow indicates the retinal vessel.
GCL – ganglion cells layer; IPL – inner plexiform layer; INL - inner nuclear layer; ONL - Outer plexiform layer, PR – photoreceptors.
