Human IL22 (ECD) protein, human IgG1 Fc tag (non-lytic) (active)

Cat. No. GTX03263-pro

Application

Functional Assay

Species

Human
Package
50 μg ($489)

APPLICATION

Application Note

Functional assay: Shows the biological function of the IL-22 moiety and exerts a prolonged circulating half-life caused by the modified (Non-lytic) Fc domain. Non-lytic: Acts as a long lasting fusion protein which only binds to the receptor. Mutations to the complement (C1q) and FcgR I binding sites of the IgGs Fc fragment render the fusion proteins incapable of antibody directed cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement directed cytotoxicity (CDC).

Observed MW

46 kDa.

PROPERTIES

Background

This gene is a member of the IL10 family of cytokines that mediate cellular inflammatory responses. The encoded protein functions in antimicrobial defense at mucosal surfaces and in tissue repair. This protein also has pro-inflammatory properties and plays a role in in the pathogenesis of several intestinal diseases. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2018]
