Application Note

We recommend the following starting dilutions: For WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1- 0.2 μg/ml. For IHC: Use at a concentration of 0.25 μg/ml. For ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.5- 2.0 μg/ml. For Neutralization: one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Rat IL-1β (0.20 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.09- 0.14 μg/ml of this antibody is required.

IHC analysis of colchicine injected rat brain (including the ventricles and the CA3 region of the hippocampus) tissue using IL1 beta antibody at a concentration of 0.25 μg/ml. This was followed by a peroxidase conjugated secondary antibody and then a fluorescein Tyramide Signal Amplification (TSA) reagent.
