Summary
The C9B7W monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD223, also known as Lymphocyte-activation gene 3 (LAG3). CD223 is a 70 kDa member of the Ig superfamily and is structurally homologous to CD4. Like CD4, CD223 binds to MHC Class II but with higher affinity than CD4. CD223 is expressed on T cells activated through the T cell receptor and on activated NK cells.
