Background

This gene encodes a mitochondrial NAD-dependent malic enzyme, a homotetrameric protein, that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of malate to pyruvate. It had previously been weakly linked to a syndrome known as Friedreich ataxia that has since been shown to be the result of mutation in a completely different gene. [provided by RefSeq]

DATA IMAGES

Anti-ME2 antibody used in Immunoprecipitation (IP). GTX130673

GTX130673 IP Image

Immunoprecipitation of ME2 protein from THP-1 whole cell extracts using 5 μg of ME2 antibody (GTX130673).
Western blot analysis was performed using ME2 antibody (GTX130673) diluted at 1:500.
EasyBlot anti-Rabbit IgG (GTX221666-01) was used as a secondary reagent.

Anti-ME2 antibody used in Western Blot (WB). GTX130673

GTX130673 WB Image

ME2 antibody detects ME2 protein by western blot analysis. Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with ME2 antibody (GTX130673) diluted at a dilution of 1:1000.

Anti-ME2 antibody used in IHC (Paraffin sections) (IHC-P). GTX130673

GTX130673 IHC-P Image

ME2 antibody detects ME2 protein at cytoplasm in mouse muscle by immunohistochemical analysis.
Sample: Paraffin-embedded mouse muscle.
ME2 antibody (GTX130673) diluted at 1:500.

Antigen Retrieval: Citrate buffer, pH 6.0, 15 min
