Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytosolic regulator of innate immunity. The encoded protein contains several leucine-rich repeat domains and may be involved in regulating T-cell activation. Two transcript variants, one protein coding and the other non-protein coding, have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2013]
