APPLICATION

Application Note

IHC-P: Working dilution, ready-to-use for 10 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Background

This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in mature neurons and cells of neuronal origin. A switch from alpha enolase to gamma enolase occurs in neural tissue during development in rats and primates. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
