Background

The OCT1 transcription factor was among the first identified members of the POU transcription factor family (summarized by Sturm et al., 1993 [PubMed 8314572]). Members of this family contain the POU domain, a 160-amino acid region necessary for DNA binding to the octameric sequence ATGCAAAT.[supplied by OMIM]

KO/KD

Wild-type (WT) and OCT1 knockout (KO) HeLa cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with OCT1 antibody (GTX105202) diluted at 1:2000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
