Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins. Members of this superfamily appear to regulate a diverse array of cellular events, including the control of cell growth, cytoskeletal reorganization, and the activation of protein kinases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]

Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Rac1 antibody (GTX100761) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody. Corresponding RNA expression data for the same cell lines are based on Human Protein Atlas program.

Rac1 antibody detects Rac1 protein at cytoskeleton  by immunofluorescent analysis.
Sample: A431 cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.
Green: Rac1 stained by Rac1 antibody (GTX100761) diluted at 1:500.
Blue: Fluoroshield with DAPI (GTX30920).
