Background

The Drosophila embryonic protein snail is a zinc finger transcriptional repressor which downregulates the expression of ectodermal genes within the mesoderm. The nuclear protein encoded by this gene is structurally similar to the Drosophila snail protein, and is also thought to be critical for mesoderm formation in the developing embryo. At least two variants of a similar processed pseudogene have been found on chromosome 2. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Wild-type (WT) and SNAI1 knockout (KO) HeLa cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with SNAI1 antibody [HL2303] (GTX638370) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Untreated (–) and treated (+) HeLa whole cell extract (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with SNAI1 antibody [HL2303] (GTX638370) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

SNAI1 antibody [HL2303] detects SNAI1 protein at cytoplasm and nucleus by immunofluorescent analysis.
Sample: Mock and treated HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.
Green: SNAI1 stained by SNAI1 antibody [HL2303] (GTX638370) diluted at 1:1000.
Blue: Fluoroshield with DAPI (GTX30920).
