Application Note
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and frozen sections. Dilute 1:100-1:200 using polymer or streptavidin ~biotin system for 30 mins at room temperature. The Prediluted antibody is ready to be used. This antibody requires antigen retriever (boiling FFPE tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 mins. followed by cooling at room temp. for 20 mins).

Background
This gene encodes an integral membrane protein of small synaptic vesicles in brain and endocrine cells. The protein also binds cholesterol and is thought to direct targeting of vesicle-associated membrane protein 2 (synaptobrevin) to intracellular compartments. Mutations in this gene are associated with an X-linked form of cognitive disability. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2017]
