Background

This gene product is a member of the transcriptional enhancer factor (TEF) family of transcription factors, which contain the TEA/ATTS DNA-binding domain. It is preferentially expressed in the skeletal muscle, and binds to the M-CAT regulatory element found in promoters of muscle-specific genes to direct their gene expression. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms, some of which are translated through the use of a non-AUG (UUG) initiation codon, have been described for this gene. TEAD4 antibody detects TEAD4 protein at nucleus by immunofluorescent analysis.
Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.
Green: TEAD4 stained by TEAD4 antibody (GTX108750) diluted at 1:500.
Red: phalloidin, a cytoskeleton marker, diluted at 1:100.

HepG2 whole cell and nuclear extracts (30 µg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with TEAD4 antibody (GTX108750) diluted at 1:2000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
