Cellular Localization

Background

This gene encodes a ubiquitous transcriptional enhancer factor that is a member of the TEA/ATTS domain family. This protein directs the transactivation of a wide variety of genes and, in placental cells, also acts as a transcriptional repressor. Mutations in this gene cause Sveinsson's chorioretinal atrophy. Additional transcript variants have been described but their full-length natures have not been experimentally verified. [provided by RefSeq]

Anti-TEF1 antibody [GT13112] used in Western Blot (WB). GTX632126

GTX632126 WB Image

HeLa whole cell and nuclear extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with TEF1 antibody [GT13112] (GTX632126) diluted at 1:500. The HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody (GTX213111-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

Anti-TEF1 antibody [GT13112] used in Immunoprecipitation (IP). GTX632126

GTX632126 IP Image

Immunoprecipitation of TEF1 protein from HeLa nuclear extracts using 5 μg of TEF1 antibody [GT13112] (GTX632126).
Western blot analysis was performed using TEF1 antibody [GT13112] (GTX632126).
EasyBlot anti-Mouse IgG (GTX221667-01) was used as a secondary reagent.

Anti-TEF1 antibody [GT13112] used in Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). GTX632126

GTX632126 ICC/IF Image

TEF1 antibody [GT13112] detects TEF1 protein at nucleus by immunofluorescent analysis.
Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.
Green: TEF1 protein stained by TEF1 antibody [GT13112] (GTX632126) diluted at 1:400.
Red: Phalloidin, a F-actin marker, diluted at 1:200.
