Background

This gene was identified as a gene whose expression is rapidly induced by the tumor necrosis factor (TNF). The protein encoded by this gene is a zinc finger protein, and has been shown to inhibit NF-kappa B activation as well as TNF-mediated apoptosis. Knockout studies of a similar gene in mice suggested that this gene is critical for limiting inflammation by terminating TNF-induced NF-kappa B responses. [provided by RefSeq]

A20 antibody detects A20 protein by Western blot analysis. Non-transfected (-) and A20 -transfected (+, including 3xFlag-tag) 293T whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with A20 antibody (GTX113027) diluted by 1:10000.
