Background

This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel family of C2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor proteins. The encoded protein acts as a transcriptional activator. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. Other transcript variants have been described, but their full length sequence has not been determined. Mouse tissue extract (50 µg) was separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with ZNF398 antibody [C1C3] (GTX107221) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
Multiple bands were observed 72 kDa, and 55 kDa. It is possibly due to alternative splicing.
