Background

The protein encoded by this gene is secreted and is a serine protease inhibitor whose targets include elastase, plasmin, thrombin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, and plasminogen activator. Whole cell extract (30 μg) was separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with alpha 1 Antitrypsin antibody [N1C2] (GTX112707) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
