CD90 antibody

Summary Recognizes a non-polymorphic (Mr 25-30kD) determinant on the Thy1.1 and Thy1.2 alloantigens. The CD90 Thy1 antigen is present on thymocytes, peripheral T-cells and some intraepithelial T-lymphocytes of all mouse strains tested.

Summary Thy1.1 is a monomorphic determinant in rat but polymorphic in mice, clone MRC OX-7 reacts with Thy1.1 mice e.g. AKR and FVB, but not Thy1.2 mice such as CBA and BALB/c. The affinity of the Fab' of MRC OX-7 for rat Thy1 is 3 x 10⁹m^-1 and for mouse Thy1.1 is 3 x 10⁸m^-1.

We do not recommend use of this product for Human,Rat.

Summary This antibody recognizes the murine Thy1.2 cell surface antigen, and binds to T cell lines (EL-4, 3A9), T lymphocytes and the WEH1-3 cell line. 3T3 fibroblasts are also stained by this antibody.
