Note :

WB
As is commonly seen with membrane proteins, significant hydrophobicity can lead to aggregation following boiling of samples prior to SDS-PAGE and subsequent western blotting. We recommend to avoid boiling in this case.

Not tested in other applications.

Background

This gene was identified by the up-regulation of its expression upon Epstein-Barr virus infection of primary B lymphocytes. This gene is predicted to encode a G protein-coupled receptor that is most closely related to the thrombin receptor. Expression of this gene was detected in B-lymphocyte cell lines and lymphoid tissues but not in T-lymphocyte cell lines or peripheral blood T lymphocytes. The function of this gene is unknown. GTX129712 WB Image

EBI2 (GPR183) antibody detects EBI2 (GPR183) protein by western blot analysis. Non-transfected (-) and -transfected (+, including eGFP-tag) 293T whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with EBI2 (GPR183) antibody (GTX129712) diluted by 1:1000.
