Background

RC3H1, or roquin, encodes a highly conserved member of the RING type ubiquitin ligase protein family (Vinuesa et al., 2005 [PubMed 15917799]). The roquin protein is distinguished by the presence of a CCCH zinc finger found in RNA-binding proteins, and localization to cytosolic RNA granules implicated in regulating mRNA translation and stability.[supplied by OMIM]

Overexpression

RC3H1 antibody detects RC3H1 protein by western blot analysis. Non-transfected (-) and RC3H1-transfected (+, including 3xFlag-tag) 293T whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with RC3H1 antibody (GTX129780) diluted by 1:1000.
